Help & contact
support@octsun.app Email us
Please don't include health details about the person you care for — we don't need them to help, and email isn't the place for them.
In an emergency, Carelune can't help. If someone is in danger or missing, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) right away.
Common questions
How do I move my journal to a new phone?
Your journal is stored only on your phone, so it moves with a backup file.
- On your old phone, go to Settings → Your data → Save a backup file, and save it somewhere you can reach from the new phone, such as your cloud drive or email.
- Install Carelune on the new phone. On Who are you caring for?, tap Restore from a backup file and choose your backup.
How do I keep a backup?
Go to Settings → Your data → Save a backup file and choose where to save it. The file includes your care profile, journal entries, medications, emergency info and saved questions. Anyone who has the file can read it, so keep it somewhere private. We recommend saving one regularly.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings → Your data → Delete all data. This removes everything Carelune stored on this phone and can't be undone. Uninstalling the app also deletes its data. We don't hold a copy, so we can't restore it.
I'm not getting reminders.
- Check Settings → Reminders. If notifications are off for Carelune, it says so — tap Open notification settings and allow them.
- Medication reminders come only at times of day when a medicine is scheduled. Medicines given only as needed don't trigger reminders.
- On Android, Carelune stays quiet when there's nothing left to do — for example, after every dose for that time is checked off.
- When the phone is saving battery, a reminder can arrive up to about an hour late.
How do I make a report for an appointment?
Open the Insights tab and tap Create a report. Choose 2 weeks, 1 month or 3 months, decide whether to include your notes, add questions for the care team, then share, save or print the PDF.
Can I make the text bigger?
Yes. Go to Settings → Text size and choose Small, Default or Large. Carelune also follows your phone's own text size setting.
Can I use Carelune for more than one person, or share it with family?
This version supports one care profile, and each phone keeps its own journal. Family sharing is something we'd like to add in the future.
Does Carelune give medical advice?
No. Carelune organizes what you record so it's easier to see and share. For medical questions, please talk with a healthcare professional.
Which languages are available?
